Privacy policy

auraapps.co.uk/sennight/privacy

This policy covers the Sennight app. It is short because there is very little to describe.

Last updated 27 August 2026 · applies to Sennight 1.0 and later

Sennight collects nothing.

There is no account, no server and no analytics. What you write down stays on your iPhone. We have no way to read it, and nobody buys it, because there is nothing to buy.

Who we are

Sennight is made by Aura Apps Ltd, company number 17329998, registered in England and Wales. For anything in this policy, Aura Apps Ltd is the data controller. You can reach us at support@auraapps.co.uk.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter — the doses you log, your weigh-ins, your notes on how you have been feeling, and your settings — is written to a private file inside the app on your own device.

Apple Health

Sennight can read your weight from Apple Health, and only if you allow it on Apple's own permission sheet.

No analytics, no trackers, no third parties

The app contains no analytics framework, no advertising identifier, no crash-reporting service and no third-party software development kits. It makes no network requests of its own. Our App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected, and that is a description of the architecture rather than a promise about our intentions.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are sold through Apple's App Store. Apple is the merchant of record: you pay Apple, Apple handles billing, renewals, refunds and cancellation, and Apple never gives us your payment details. We receive only the anonymous receipt information the operating system uses to tell the app whether a subscription is active — it carries no name, no email address and no card details. Apple's own privacy policy governs what Apple does with your purchase, and you manage or cancel the subscription in your iPhone Settings.

Children

Sennight is for adults aged 18 and over, and is not directed at children.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over personal data a company holds about you. In our case those rights are satisfied by the design: we hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to hand over, correct or delete. Your own copy is in your hands on your device, and you can edit or delete any entry, or remove all of it by deleting the app.

Aura Apps Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as a data protection fee payer, registration ZC227521.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, please write to us first at support@auraapps.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

This website

These pages are plain static files. There are no cookies, no analytics and no third-party requests — the fonts are served from this domain, not from anyone else's. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and diagnostics; that is covered by the Aura Apps website privacy notice.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date, and any change that affects what the app does arrives in an app update rather than silently.
